As one of Japan's top three forged wheels brands, TWSalso enjoys considerable renown in motorsports. Its Motorsport series,specifically engineered for competitive street cars, is highly sought after bytuning enthusiasts. Furthermore, TWS offers four other forged series, eachdistinguished by unique styles and craftsmanship, including the TWS EXLETEseries for the automotive aftermarket.

While prioritizing weight reduction, this seriesincorporates European-inspired sporting aesthetics, offering a wide selectionof sizes and bolt patterns to fit most mainstream vehicles, from Japanese toEuropean marques. This year also saw the introduction of the 109M Monoblock, anew, comprehensive range of 21- and 22-inch one-piece forged wheels within theseries.

While the TWS EXLETE series offers the widest varietyof designs, its options in the popular 20/21-inch sizes were previouslysomewhat limited. This new 109M model is specifically designed to address thatgap in the EXLETE lineup. With the introduction of the 109M, the EXLETE seriesnow provides more comprehensive fitment data for a broader range of vehicles,from Japanese and European sedans to SUVs.

The design of the TWS 109M draws inspiration from thepopular 23-inch TWS 310M, a model from the same series launched two yearsprior. The 310M was specifically developed for mid-to-large sports SUVs likethe URUS, Bentayga, and G-Class, with its structural load-bearing design anddata tailored to these vehicles. Regarding spoke design, the 310M features a10*Y structure, while the 109M utilizes a 9*Y structure.   Inheriting the design philosophyof the 310M, the 109M is suitable for MPVs, B/C/D-segment sedans, mid-to-largesports SUVs, and certain pure electric vehicles that demand high load-bearingrigidity.

Featuring 18 connection points where the spokes meetthe rim, the 109M achieves weight reduction while significantly enhancing thestructural strength and load-bearing capacity of the wheel hub. According toTWS, the structural design of the 109M helps to suppress unsprung massresonance, contributing to a quieter cabin.

In terms of cross-sectional design, the TWS 109Mutilizes a three-stage gradient arc machining process, accommodating narrowrims and high inner lips to ensure a deep, three-dimensional visual impactacross various vehicle models. Its spokes extend to the rim's edge, creating asharp and dynamic aesthetic. As the first EXLETE series wheel to feature a 9*Yspoke design with a deep concave profile, the 109M is a stylish and sportywheel option worth considering.

The TWS 109M is available in three popular coloroptions: the sophisticated Brushed Silver (BRS), the trendy Graphite Black(GRB), and the premium Glossy Dark Bronze (GDBR).

Available in 20-inch and 21-inch sizes, the bolt patterns(P.C.D.) include 5×114.3, commonlyused for Japanese cars, 5×112 and 5×120, commonly used for European cars, and specifications to fitToyota 40 series Alphards and other MPVs. TWS may also introduce larger P.C.D.options in the future (e.g., 6×139.7) to cater to awider range of vehicles, which is something to look forward to.
